As a Cook, reporting to the Supervisor or Catering Manager, your primary responsibility will be the efficient and timely preparation of meals. This includes overseeing food service, ensuring food safety, and supervising kitchen personnel.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining a pristine kitchen and organized food storage areas at all times.
- Preparing high-quality, nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in accordance with client schedules and menu plans while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Complying with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations as well as Safe Food Handling/Health Unit standards.
- Following all relevant Dana Hospitality policies and procedures.
- Managing inventory effectively.
- Keeping accurate, signed records of meals served.
