Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Establish work schedules
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
