About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Development

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and company goals.

Employee Relations

Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Recruitment and Staffing

Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the growth of our business.

Employee Performance Management

Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure employees are meeting their performance goals and contributing to the success of the company.

Benefits and Compensation

Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and compensation packages to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, benefits, and performance data.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Experience

5 years or more of experience in human resources, preferably in the construction industry.

Certifications

Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

Skills

Human resources software, information technology, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
