Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Co-op to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Data Science Co-op, you will play a key role in assisting product owners, business stakeholders, data scientists, data engineers, and ML engineers in building AI solutions to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the exploration of data science opportunities across RBC Insurance business.
  • Conduct exploratory data analytics, preparation, and integration of large and various types of data (structured/non-structured).
  • Document and report advanced analytics and data science experiments.
  • Build and productionize AI/ML solutions using enterprise MLOps technologies.
Requirements
  • Progress towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or relevant fields.
  • Familiarity with ML concepts, NLP, and text analytics methods and packages.
  • Advanced Python coding skills and hands-on experience with data analysis packages such as Pandas and machine learning packages such as Scikit Learn.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
