Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Co-op to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Data Analyst Co-op, you will play a key role in supporting the foundational data capabilities that drive all intelligence and insights work at our company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with stakeholders to understand business and/or operational needs and translate those into data requirements
  2. Develop new and/or maintain existing ingestion pipelines that ensure data assets from various sources are made available and accessible in our custom environment
  3. Design, develop, and validate data transformations that aim to unlock new opportunities for business analysts and other end users to leverage our data to provide key insights to both internal colleagues and external clients
  4. Develop and maintain business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documentation for all processes

Requirements

  1. Working towards a Business/Computer Science/Engineering/Math/Science degree
  2. Knowledge and understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and Cloud Infrastructure are key skills
  3. Effective organizational and communication skills
  4. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
