About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD (Computer-Assisted Drafting) technician to join our team at Kaia Creative Inc. as a key member of our design and engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design software.
  • Design Development: Develop and prepare design sketches and concepts for various engineering projects.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
  • Contracting and Reporting: Prepare contracts and tenders, and write technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality output.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent written communication skills, organized, and a team player are essential for this role.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and creative environment with a team of experienced professionals. The position is permanent, and the work schedule is 30 hours per week.

The language of work is English, and the ideal candidate will be fluent in English.
