About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Specialist to join our team at Northland Properties Corporation. As a CAD Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our engineering and design teams by creating accurate and detailed designs and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design software, such as SketchUp and AutoCAD.
  • Design Development: Develop and prepare design sketches and concepts for review and approval.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write technical reports and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and consult with engineers and production specialists to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized and able to work effectively in a team environment.
