Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Coordinate and participate in all CT scanning procedures
  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of CT scanners and related equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements

  • Diploma (Degree) in radiography from an accredited institution
  • Member in good standing of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and documentation skills
  • Experience working with electronic medical records
  • Familiarity with the Regulated Health Professions Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, and the Standards of Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adjust to new or unexpected events
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Proven attendance record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate education pertaining to CT scanning
  • Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT
  • Ability to speak a second language
