About the Role

PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is seeking an Estimating Student to join our Canadian Buildings Division in the BC Region. As an Estimating Student, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that promotes personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of quantity surveys and bid documents
  • Review and analyze construction estimates and bid proposals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Perform general subtrade solicitation duties and bid document control
  • Assist in the development of estimating manuals and systems
Requirements
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting
