Concrete Finishing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Supervisor to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of concrete finishing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of concrete finishers to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
- Workplace Information: On-the-road job with regular travel to project sites.
- Language Training: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to language training.
- Skills Training: Recruit and support newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
