Job Title: Supervisor, Communications & Campaigns

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Supervisor to join our team at Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to increase brand awareness, understanding, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication campaigns to engage various stakeholder groups, including Canadians, internal employees, donors, partners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Partner with McDonald's Canada to execute unique communications and influencer program initiatives, including McHappy Day.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare organizations and publications, to amplify the RMHC mission.
  • Oversee media monitoring and results tracking, providing quarterly updates to stakeholders, including RMHC Canada leadership, Board of Directors, and McDonald's Canada.
  • Communicate and promote the RMHC mission to key stakeholder audiences and partners, including McDonald's Restaurants of Canada, National Mission Partners, and healthcare partners.
  • Act as an internal content expert, drafting and reviewing communications content on behalf of RMHC Canada and McDonald's Canada internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in communications, preferably in a relevant role, with agency, corporate, healthcare, and/or non-profit experience an asset.
  • Dedicated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively to multiple stakeholder audiences.
  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms, including analytics tools, and ability to leverage data to inform communication strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with ability to work with multi-disciplined teams and navigate complex issues.
  • Well-organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with excellent attention to detail.
