Key Responsibilities
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end financial closing, analytical review, and reporting activities.
  • Engage in external financial disclosures.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting/strategic planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate on special projects with various departments and mine site/project teams.
  • Evaluate financial data and create informative presentations.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting or Finance, ideally in the 2nd or 3rd year.
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese is advantageous.
