Position Summary:The Financial Reporting Manager will report directly to the Director of Financial Reporting. This role encompasses critical accounting responsibilities, including the preparation of financial statements and facilitating audits for our clients, which primarily consist of U.S. and Canadian unregistered investment entities such as hedge funds and private equity funds.

Training & Development:The Financial Reporting Manager will collaborate closely with the Fund Accounting team and oversee junior staff to ensure effective financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards and internal protocols.
This role involves drafting financial statement disclosures based on legal documentation and updating the presentation of core financial statements to align with newly adopted accounting standards.
Ongoing communication with clients and auditors is essential for effective planning and resolution of issues.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in public accounting, specifically auditing financial statements for investment companies, or equivalent experience in fund administration overseeing financial statement preparation
- Expertise in US GAAP, particularly ASC 946 related to Financial Services – Investment Companies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
