The Coordinator of Northern Shared Chronic Pain Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality chronic pain services across four sites in the region. Reporting to the Managers of the primary level Chronic Pain Service at Cumberland Regional, Colchester East Hants Health Center, Aberdeen Regional, and St. Martha's Regional Hospitals, this position is responsible for strategic leadership and coordination of chronic pain clinical services. The Coordinator will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, external service providers, and provincial stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized degree in Allied Health, Social Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in working with chronic pain patients. The successful candidate will also have experience in program/service coordination or management, be licensed or licensable in Nova Scotia, and demonstrate proficiency in electronic communication, EMR, and Microsoft Office products.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate chronic pain clinical services across the region
- Provide strategic leadership and ensure delivery of chronic pain services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement service plans to meet the needs of chronic pain patients
Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $49.97 per hour, as well as benefits such as health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage. The successful candidate will also be eligible for our defined benefit pension plan.
