Job Summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely processing of content claims, utilizing our claims handling methodology and content claims processing and pricing platform, exclaim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters and policyholders to conduct inventory of total loss contents.
  • Ensure consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with our productivity and performance standards.
  • Work with other teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventory and LKQ valuation of total loss contents.
  • Adhere to our commitment to timely and informative updates on the content claims process to adjusters and policyholders.
  • Complete and submit detailed work and time logs daily for all claim tasks completed.
  • Maintain claim-related notes in our platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling the claim.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion and pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards.
  • Consistently promote our brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements
  • A Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Some prior background or experience in the Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
  • Able to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise.
  • Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service.
  • Company equipment, including laptop, will be provided.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, with business-related expenses covered by Crawford & Company.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
