About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at JHH Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and products.
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods, while also considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and weather.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including receiving and relaying information, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Product Handling and Inventory Management: Handle and manage inventory, including loading and unloading goods, preparing and packaging products, and restocking supplies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues that may arise during delivery routes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G licence to operate cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate: Hold a valid TDG certificate to transport hazardous materials.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be physically capable of lifting and handling goods.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with opportunities for overtime.
