Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Connecting Dots - Innisfail. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our team, ensuring the successful implementation of our organizational policies and programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to achieve our goals, including human, financial, and material resources.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Representation: Represent our organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on our behalf.
  • Staff Management: Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior management role is required.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Our organization is a child care centre.
  • Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising 5-10 people.
Language:
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
