Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at VanGuard Flooring Inc. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Assign sales staff to duties and responsibilities
    • Hire, train, and develop sales staff
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Store Operations
    • Establish and maintain a clean and organized store environment
    • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets
    • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints
    • Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Financial Management
    • Manage store budgets and financial reports
    • Monitor and control expenses
    • Make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
