Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Uplands Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Direct and manage a team of sales associates, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve employee performance.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
    • Ensure the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner, meeting company standards.
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory and Merchandising
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
    • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve store performance.
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
