Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Kitimat Subs Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
  • Manage staff schedules, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize efficiency and minimize losses.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
