Courier Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a key member of our team at CB Canada, the Feeder On-Road Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day dispatch and scheduling of delivery and pickup routes. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise, hire, train, recognize, and discipline staff engaged in courier operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a stable workforce by hiring, training, and motivating staff to achieve service excellence and job security.
  • Develop and enhance safety, quality, service, and production programs to drive continuous improvement and revenue growth.
  • Analyze employee and customer-related surveys to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance relationships.
  • Report on and account for all aspects of the operation, including safety, service, people, cost, and revenue indicators.
  • Maintain an effective administrative system, including vacations, audits, employee records, and files.
  • Investigate and report all injuries, auto accidents, and service disconnects or failures.
  • Develop initiatives to reduce overall centre costs and increase revenue and production.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Class 1 driver's license and meet the necessary requirements to obtain and maintain it.
  • Must have a clean driving record with fewer than 4 demerit points and not have had their driver's license suspended or revoked in the past two years.
  • Must pass the SAAQ's vision test and submit a satisfactory medical report.
  • Must have had a driver's license for the past 5 years and be able to travel to the USA with a valid passport and visa.
