Project Manager Powerlines Job Description

Spark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, is seeking a skilled Project Manager Powerlines to join our Belleville Ontario team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction and maintenance projects for Spark Power, ensuring the efficient execution of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage working relationships with clients, internal resources, and third parties such as vendors, subcontractors, and utilities.
  • Provide accurate project estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Identify and address project challenges proactively, finding solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures whenever possible.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of construction experience as a Powerline Technician (Lineman), preferably as a Foreman or Lead Hand.
  • Computer proficient and able to learn new computer programs.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Project management experience is a definite asset but not necessary.
