We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at 13988376 Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, ensuring that our computer systems and networks are operating efficiently, and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks
- Report on the performance of computer systems and networks
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- Supervise other technical support workers in this group
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
- Provide customer service
- Set up equipment
- Perform on-site servicing and repair
- Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed
- Maintain work areas
- Maintain, install, and troubleshoot a wide variety of broadcast hardware and software
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week
