We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in helping our client, a Canadian-based logistics and transportation provider, grow their business and bring new opportunities into the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify potential companies and contacts that ship freight across Canada, the USA, and Mexico.
- Make outbound calls, emails, and social media connections to prospect new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine pricing and operational processes for customer freight.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, load count, and margin on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry, including North American trade lanes and transport modes.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales development role, preferably within a freight brokerage or 3PL background.
- Positive attitude, perseverance, and ability to adapt to new sales and business development challenges.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle issues tactfully and responsibly.
- Coachability and willingness to work with senior leadership to improve performance.
- College or university education, preferably in business or a related field.
- Bilingualism in Quebec is a strong asset.
