Job Title: Executive Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Specialist to join our team at Paul's Bakery Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our pastry team, creating innovative desserts, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and dessert concepts to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special promotions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve our offerings.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pastry or baking role, preferably in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary training or certification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
