Job Title: Executive Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Specialist to join our team at Paul's Bakery Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our pastry team, creating new recipes, and maintaining high-quality standards in our bakery. If you have a passion for pastry arts and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and bakers to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably in a fast-paced bakery or restaurant environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary training or certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
