About the Role

Care24Inc is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team in a community outreach role. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and services to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative and Office Activities

You will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients and stakeholders.

Client Assessment and Support

You will assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Program Development and Implementation

You will develop, coordinate, and implement programs and services to support clients in the community, including life skills workshops and substance abuse treatment programs.

Collaboration and Liaison

You will work with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure seamless support for clients.

Program Evaluation and Research

You will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs and maintaining program statistics for research purposes.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees

You will participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and provide support with foreign credential recognition.

Support for Youth

You will participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

Support for Indigenous People

You will participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
