Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

Care24Inc is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and office support to our team
  • Assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Implement life skills workshops to promote independence and self-sufficiency
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of services within the community
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention support
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Implement substance abuse treatment programs
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment
  • Support Indigenous people through community programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language required
