Job Summary

**Job Title:** Senior Network Architect

**Job Summary:** The Delta Police Department is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to lead the planning, design, and implementation of our network infrastructure. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architecture to meet business requirements
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Implement system and network monitoring and analysis tools to evaluate and improve network performance
  • Lead technical projects from requirements gathering through to deployment and end-user support
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network security and data integrity
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • **Experience:** 7+ years of relevant work experience in network architecture and design
  • **Skills:** Excellent understanding of communications protocols, network security practices, and network quality of service evaluation and improvement
  • **Certifications:** CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification
