Community Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at Rocky Mountain Behaviour Analysts Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing youth programs, services, and activities that promote positive youth development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation
- Develop and implement life skills workshops and programs that promote positive youth development and well-being.
- Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs, and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
- Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Client Services
- Provide administrative and office support to clients, including preparing reports and case histories.
- Assist clients with special needs, including accompanying them to appointments and social outings.
- Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote collaborative efforts and resource sharing.
- Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff to assist with program delivery.
- Program Evaluation and Reporting
- Maintain program statistics and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Develop and submit reports to management and stakeholders on program outcomes and impact.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
