As a Manufacturing Operations Leader, you will take charge of overseeing compliant manufacturing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and leading a skilled team. This position demands practical experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, robust inventory management capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with the Departmental Director and play a vital role in managing the production of lyophilized bead reagents and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Oversight:
  1. Direct and oversee all manufacturing operations (formulation, dispensing, packaging, and equipment utilization) while ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
  2. Establish and uphold best practices to boost efficiency and product quality.
  3. Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • ERP and Inventory Management:
  1. Leverage ERP systems to effectively manage production timelines, resource distribution, and inventory levels.
  2. Develop strategies to reduce production delays and guarantee timely customer deliveries.
  3. Monitor inventory and implement effective control measures.
  • Performance Analytics:
  1. Create and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess manufacturing efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  2. Analyze production data to pinpoint areas for enhancement and execute corrective actions.
  3. Provide regular updates on manufacturing metrics to senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership:
  1. Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing manufacturing team.
  2. Encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
  3. Conduct regular performance evaluations and address training requirements.
  • Quality Assurance:
  1. Partner with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  2. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and investigate any deviations from established quality protocols.
  • Client Relations:
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  2. Collaborate with business development teams to understand client needs and expectations.
  3. Ensure a client-focused approach in all manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, ideally within diagnostic solutions, pharmaceuticals, or related sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in inventory management.
  • Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to utilize data for informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
