Key Responsibilities

  • Fill prescriptions and follow proper billing procedures
  • Provide information and patient-oriented advice to customers concerning the proper use of prescription medication
  • Administer injections and vaccinations
  • Supervise and assist in the processes of perpetual inventory, ordering of prescription and dispensary products, and other over-the-counter products
  • Maintain prescription product inventories and levels consistent with budgeted inventory management targets
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with government and professional regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc. Pharm)
  • Licensed and registered with Alberta College of Pharmacists
  • Authorization to Administer Medications by Injection
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience (desirable)
