Veterinary Reception, Client Care

Location: Strathmore, AB

Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Client Care Representative to join our team. As a CCR, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy hospital and providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets.

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping animals. Our hospital serves both small and large animals, so experience with both is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing excellent customer service
  • Schedule appointments and procedures, ensuring efficient use of hospital resources
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory management
  • Willingsness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
  • Assist with patient care and treatment when necessary
  • General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
  • A love for all animals

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Passion for helping animals and their owners
  • Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as needed
