Job Title: Counter Salesperson

Guillevin International is seeking a skilled Counter Salesperson to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused individual to work in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter and surrounding area.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display maintenance to create an attractive store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
