About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MEGA SANJHA PUNJAB GROCERY STORE INC. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, including cashiers, grocery clerks, shelf stockers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Store Operations: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train staff, order merchandise, authorize returns, and establish work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints, and address supply shortages.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, team player, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and will be required to walk frequently. The store is easily accessible by public transportation.
