Performance Testing Team Leader

Position Overview

As the Performance Testing Team Leader at Dana Incorporated, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the performance evaluation processes for TM4 systems. Your expertise will guide the technical strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency while being an integral part of the validation team that ensures compliance with established technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role Includes

  1. Overseeing the performance evaluation of Motor-Inverter systems via the management of test benches (including continuous performance, maximum torque, and power assessments).
  2. Leading a team of operator technicians (12 members) to achieve testing objectives.
  3. Coordinating a multi-shift workforce (day, evening, and weekend) to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  4. Collaborating closely with the lab scheduler and test engineers to adhere to project timelines and optimize resource utilization.
  5. Monitoring and enhancing laboratory key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD) and equipment uptime.
  6. Facilitating the development and enhancement of automated testing processes.
  7. Managing troubleshooting and investigative efforts during performance evaluations.
  8. Aiming to meet First Time Through (FTT) targets for testing execution.
  9. Providing training and guidance to test operators.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in acquisition and control system operations.
  3. At least five (5) years of experience in managing teams effectively.
  4. Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and team-building abilities.
  5. Political acumen with the capability to influence decisions at the management level.
