Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the productivity of the designated fleet vehicles.
  • Engage personally in scheduling drivers to meet fleet mileage goals.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of driver availability and readiness.
  • Participate in maintenance scheduling to ensure optimal truck utilization.
  • Oversee driver performance metrics and address any arising issues.
  • Manage payroll and expense reporting for drivers.
  • Pre-plan loads for drivers and communicate operational needs clearly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address freight requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred educational background in Supply Chain Management.
  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Experience in managing driver compliance and training initiatives.
  • Ability to conduct investigations into complaints as necessary.
