About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading backend development efforts, guiding the technical direction of our projects, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Backend Development Efforts: You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of sophisticated backend solutions, focusing on database optimization and performance.

  • Mentor Junior Developers: You will mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive Experience with Database Technologies: You should have extensive experience with database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Backend Microservices and Databases: You should have experience in backend microservices and databases.
  • Agile Development Teams: You should have experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Backend Programming Languages: You should be proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: You should have exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
