Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Data Platform team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to design and implement back-end services and APIs that facilitate data processing and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on backend systems and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust and scalable data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs that meet the needs of our business.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security across platforms.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Strong background in software development, with a focus on backend systems and data pipelines.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Big Data.
  • Proficiency in Python is an asset.
