Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Chinese Hot Pot Buffet. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Package take-out food and ensure timely delivery.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Scour pots and pans to maintain kitchen cleanliness.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure adequate supplies.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean environment.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Keep records of food quantities used to optimize inventory management.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain kitchen efficiency.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demands.
  • Government Programs
    • We are a recognized employer offering a permanent work term.
    • Work language is English, with opportunities to work with a diverse team.
    • Hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
