About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 1287400 BC Ltd. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register Systems: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate totals, and handle returns and exchanges in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store Environment: Ensure that the sales floor, cash handling area, and stockroom are clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
  • Work Collaboratively with Colleagues: Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve sales goals.
  • Meet Sales Goals and Objectives: Meet or exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Will Train: We provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple transactions and customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Work Under Pressure: You will work under pressure to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work Term: Permanent: This is a permanent full-time position.
  • Work Language: English: Fluency in English is required.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week: You will work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
