About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Art Vision Painting Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate a range of equipment and machinery, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, patterned rollers, and sandblasters.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors. Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player skills.
