We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Art Vision Painting Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate brush painting, conventional spray painting, patterned rollers, and other equipment and machinery as required.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Education and Training: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification in painting and finishing.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and finishing, with a focus on surface preparation, painting, and finishing.
- Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.
