About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Art Vision Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Painting and Decorating: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to surfaces using a variety of techniques, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Set up and operate scaffolding, swing stages, and rigging to ensure safe and efficient access to work areas.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate materials and costs for projects, and plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification in painting and decorating.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on commercial or industrial settings.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Confined spaces, odours, and varying temperatures.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including commercial and industrial sites.
