Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our esteemed establishment, Royal Indian Cuisine INC. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for preparing traditional East Indian dishes and a commitment to culinary excellence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Restaurant environment with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations.
