Position Overview

As a Summer Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for campers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing recreational activities and ensuring the well-being of all participants.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is required.
Work Environment
  • Primarily outdoors, including activities in and around water.
  • Exposure to noisy and hot conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lifestyle awareness information to participants.
  • Assist clients or guests with special requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to maintain safety and provide first aid assistance when necessary.
  • Offer personal care to campers as needed.
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certification.
  • First Aid Certification.
Student Status
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student.
Safety and Security
  • Must provide immunization records.
  • Tuberculosis testing is required.
  • A vulnerable sector check is mandatory.
Transportation

Applicants must have their own means of transportation.
