Position Overview

As a Summer Camp Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for campers. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the overall camp experience.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Work Environment
  • Outdoor settings
  • Activities may occur in or on water
  • Work may involve exposure to noisy and hot conditions
Work Setting

This position is primarily based in a camp environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lifestyle awareness information to participants.
  • Support clients and guests with special requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Oversee recreational, sports, or fitness activities, providing emergency or first aid assistance as necessary.
  • Offer personal care to campers.
Required Certifications
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
Student Status
  • Must be enrolled full-time or part-time in an educational institution.
Safety and Security
  • Must provide immunization records.
  • Completion of a tuberculosis test is required.
  • A vulnerable sector check is mandatory.
