The Crystal Ladder Learning Centre is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, providing holistic speech therapy services to neurodiverse learners.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at CLLC, you will work collaboratively with a team of Communicative Disorders Assistants to deliver individualized speech therapy sessions and group sessions during March and summer break.
The SLP department at CLLC uses a holistic approach to improve language and communication skills of neurodiverse learners, aged 3-18 years.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy as clinically recommended
- Meet with parents to keep them informed on progress and address concerns
- Work with administration to ensure learners receive weekly speech sessions
- Plan seasonal camps during March break and summer break
- Provide parent training to facilitate carryover and generalization
- Provide consultation and training to other professionals
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on an interdisciplinary team
- Implement, troubleshoot, and support augmentative alternative communication devices
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
