The Accounting Clerk Student is responsible for reviewing inventory transactions and processing customer billing to keep accounting records up to date and accurate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inventory Transactions
- Reviews and compares inventory receiving reports with purchase orders and suppliers’ shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinates reconciliation of discrepancies with the procurement team
- Evaluate inventory receipts, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and generate reports and reviews for accuracy.
- Reconciles inventory discrepancies as needed and assists with coordinating physical inventory counts.

Invoicing / Accounts Receivable
- Review the accuracy of the paper received for billing and coordinate with logistics teams for any discrepancies.
- Processes customer invoicing in the SAP system, and reviews to ensure that customer information, payment terms, quantities, and pricing.
- Examine order confirmation and check the accuracy of the pricing are accurate.
- Review Proof of deliveries in the Vector system and any differences need to correspond with the logistics teams.
- Assess AR Aging reports and check the invoices are not processed.
- Generate sales reports, and review to ensure all the transactions are correctly processed.

Other
- Maintains organized records of inventory transactions, vendor payments, and customer invoices for audit purposes.
- Assists with month-end duties, including report generation, and account reconciliations.
- Cross-train with other Accounting / Administrative staff and act as a backup during periods of absence.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in College and/or University in Accounting or Business Program.
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
- Attention to detail, monitor and check work or information.
- Problem solving and prioritization.
- Thoroughness.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office).
