Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Capture Engineer to join our team at Unreal Gigs. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our carbon capture systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Collaborate with our team to develop a comprehensive process flow diagram for the system and oversee the sizing and sourcing of components through P&ID.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate versatility by quickly adapting to address unfamiliar problems and challenges within the system.
  • Cost Reduction: Employ creative problem-solving to devise unconventional solutions aimed at significantly reducing costs and exploring opportunities for in-house development.
  • System Optimization: Engage with CAD design engineers to refine both macro and micro system arrangements.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of the entire system, including peripheral areas, to identify opportunities for enhancing carbon capture efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Research and Development: Identify areas within the system that would benefit from research and development, establish fundamental understandings, and propose innovative solutions for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in process engineering, particularly in designing and optimizing complex systems.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and experience collaborating with CAD design engineers.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to solve challenging problems.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
